Circle Manhattan by yacht and learn how NYC is adapting to climate change
2.75 hrs
Narrated cruise, 1 drink
Cruise the waterways around Manhattan on a heavily narrated tour focused on climate change, sustainable design, and waterfront resilience. See skyline and shoreline projects up close, with commentary from an American Institute of Architects member.
This is a heavily narrated “quiet cruising” experience and is not for children under 12. A full circumnavigation of Manhattan is not guaranteed due to occasional bridge or river closures, and there are no refunds if the route changes. Gratuity is not included unless you booked a Groups of 9 or more ticket type, where a 10% gratuity is automatically applied.
Reschedule up to 24 hours before departure. No refunds.
Check in 15–30 minutes early. The yacht boards about 5 minutes before departure and leaves on time. If you arrive late, you won’t be able to board and you won’t receive a refund or reschedule.
Bring a digital copy of your proof of purchase and a photo ID that matches the name on your booking.
Do not bring your own alcoholic beverages; it is unlawful. Food is not included. You can add light bites to your ticket purchase, and a limited number of snack options may be available onboard. If you bring food, keep it to a simple, light snack.
Classic Harbor Line delivers consistently excellent harbor cruises with gorgeous views of Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty, and the Hudson River. Guests rave about the friendly, knowledgeable crew members who go out of their way to make trips special, whether that's helping solo travelers snap photos, sharing fascinating architectural and historical facts, or keeping everyone comfortable even when weather turns chilly. The boats themselves get high marks for being beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, with many reviewers specifically mentioning the lovely wooden vessels and cozy cabins. The personal touch really stands out here. Multiple guests return for repeat trips and specifically call out captains and crew by name, which speaks volumes about the quality of service. The complimentary drinks and snacks are a nice bonus, and the various tour options (sunset cruises, architecture tours, fall foliage trips) give you plenty of reasons to come back. One reviewer did find the lunch cruise food disappointing, but the overwhelmingly positive feedback suggests most experiences hit the mark. It's a wonderful way to see New York from the water, whether you're visiting or a longtime local looking for a fresh perspective on the city.
nice and relaxing cruise to end the day. Beautiful sunset, views of the Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge plus lower Manhattan. Would definitely do it again and recommend to others
