Walk a working orchard and sample food and drinks on a guided tour
Two Hours
Guided orchard tour, samples
Sip a slushie as you explore Morning Glory Orchard with a guide and learn about the family and how they farm. Then gather for a tasting of assorted food and drink samples.
This is an outdoor experience on a working farm with uneven ground; avoid high heels and wear closed-toe shoes. No outside alcohol is allowed on the property. Bees and other flying insects are present.
All events are non-refundable. Cancel up to 72 hours before your reservation to receive a gift card. Cancellations with less than 72 hours’ notice are not allowed.
Dress for the weather since this is outdoors. Expect uneven ground on a working farm; avoid high heels and wear closed-toe shoes. As the sun sets it can get chilly, so consider bringing a sweater or light jacket, especially in spring and fall.
If light rain is expected, the event still runs, so plan for wet conditions (for example, rain boots and a rain jacket). If heavy rain, lightning, or heavy wind is expected, the orchard may reach out before your reservation to try to reschedule. If you do not hear from them, your tour runs as scheduled.
The orchard walk is described as relatively easy for most, but it may be difficult for some.
Morning Glory Orchard
Morning Glory Orchard runs a tight ship when it comes to their tours and special events, which visitors absolutely rave about. The Taste & Tour experiences and creative classes like the charcuterie apple decorating get consistently glowing feedback, with staff members like Andrea and Alyson earning specific shout-outs for being knowledgeable and welcoming. The real stars here are the apple cider slushies (especially the boozy versions), fresh donuts, and local honey, which people describe as the best they've ever had. The gift shop offers various flavored ciders and unique products that keep guests coming back. A few things to note: this isn't a pick-your-own operation, so if you're hoping to wander through orchards picking fruit, you'll want to manage expectations. The experience centers around their store, tastings, and organized events. A handful of visitors mentioned occasional staff curtness, particularly around timing for group arrivals, and there were isolated complaints about produce quality at season's end. That said, the overwhelming majority of recent visitors had fantastic experiences and found the events well worth attending. If you're near Nashville and looking for a fun apple-themed outing with excellent cider and engaging activities, this place delivers.
I brought my children here for a homeschool event. They had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and very informative. We all learned so much about apple farming. Gift shop is adorable with delicious honey and cider. The best apple cider and honey I have ever tasted. BUY LOCAL HONEY 🍯! We also purchased cherry cider, honey, gallon of apple cider, apple cider slushies and tasty peach tea! It was such a wonderful experience and we will be back for more ciders and honey! Thank you morning glory orchard, my family had an amazing time!
